The Madhya Pradesh Association of Women Entrepreneurs (MAWE) marked its 25th foundation day with a grand celebration. Rajya Sabha MP Sumitra Balmiki was the chief guest on the occasion, while MP Ashish Dubey and MLA Ashok Rohani were present as special guests. The programme began with a mesmerising Ganesh Vandana dance performance by Madhavi Savarkar. Later, MAWE members from various cities shared their thoughts and experiences during an engaging session. The Voice from the Floor segment added excitement, having a Rapid Fire Round, where several women entrepreneurs won awards. Pallavi Diwani, Rudrani Nair, Aastha Palan, Kinjal Sharma and Samiksha Maske performed a colorful group dance.

 

The inauguration took place with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by the guests, followed by the screening of a documentary showcasing MAWE’s 25-year journey. Thereafter, a talk show was conducted by Dr Archana Bhatnagar, Founder President and Chairperson of MAWE and Image Coach Preeti Kumar. They discussed MAWE’s beginnings in 2000, the challenges faced and its incredible growth into a nationally recognised organisation by 2025. Those also present were MAWE President Bhavna Madan, Secretary Monika Jolly, Sandhya Borkar, Satroopa Rabra, Pooja Nigam, Priyanka Kaur, Anshita Chaurasia, Balvinder Badhan, Dolly Suryavanshi, Usha Gupta, Chandra Mahidhar, Zeenat Khan, Anisha Chadha and others.
