Juhi Vyas, a distinguished makeup artist and pageant grooming mentor from Chhattisgarh, has created history by becoming the first woman from State to represent India at Paris Fashion Week. A resident of Durg, Juhi originally worked as a software engineer before pursuing her passion for fashion and makeup. With her roots in Bhilai, where she completed her early education at DPS School, Juhi later launched Juhi Salon & Spa twelve years ago — a significant step that transformed her career. In 2022, Juhi participated in Mrs. India Inc. and secured the First Runner-up title. The following year, she represented India at an event in California, earning the prestigious Mrs. Globe People’s Choice title — a first for any Indian contestant. In 2024, Juhi became the first Indian woman to join the jury panel at the Mrs. Globe competition held in China.

 

Her latest achievement saw her being shortlisted by Mrs. India Inc. to walk at Paris Fashion Week. Held at the iconic Hotel La Industrie, Paris, Juhi walked for five renowned designers, including Indian designer Manish Vaid, Thai designer Admire, Japanese minimalist label Sukomi, New York-based Leh Couture, and classic Parisian label Vedom Paris. As the only Indian participant at the event, Juhi’s presence earned widespread applause from the audience and fashion industry professionals.

 

Her poised walk and charismatic presence were praised for adding a touch of Indian elegance to the prestigious platform. While Juhi’s achievements in fashion continue to grow, her focus remains on her career as a makeup artist.
