TEAM ‘RCB’ defeated Team ‘KKR’ to lift the Box Cricket title organised by ICAI Nagpur Branch (WIRC) at Box Cricket Ground, Hill Top, Ram Nagar, for Chartered Accountants. The winning RCB team was led by CA Abhijeet Bondre while the runners-up team was captained by CA Pratik Khandelwal. More than 150 CAs participated in the tournament. The tournament inaugurated by CA Swapnil Ghate, Past Chairman, ICAI Nagpur Branch. “There is no short cut to success. Physical and Mental Health both needs to be balanced to achieve success,” he said.

 

CA GM Vazalwar, Past Chairman, ICAI Nagpur Branch and chief guest of prize distribution ceremony congratulated TEAM ICAI Nagpur Branch (WIRC) led by CA Dinesh Rathi for taking care of members’ fitness by organising such sporting events. CA Dinesh Rathi, Chairman, ICAI Nagpur Branch said box cricket is an annual event of Nagpur Branch and it helps to foster spirit of brotherhood and networking amongst the CA players. He congratulated all the teams for a wonderful display of sportsmanship and great cricket was played for three days. CA Ankush Kesharwani, managing committee member, co-ordinated the event along with Vice Chairperson CA Swaroopa, Wazalwar, Secretary CA Deepak Jethwani, Treasurer CA Trupti Bhattad, WICASA Chairman CA Vinod Agrawal, Managing Committee Members CA Prateek Palan, CA Paranavkumar Limaja, CA Ashish Agrawal and CA Jitendra Saglani.
