RASHTRASANT Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has announced its women’s handball team for the forthcoming All India Inter-University Handball Championship. The championship is scheduled to be held at Chaudhary Bansilal University in Bhiwani in Haryana from March 22. Acting Director of the Physical Education and Sports Department of RTMNU, Dr Vishakha Joshi announced the squad on Wednesday. Former international handball player and Shiv Chhatrapati Awardee Dr Ashlesha Ingole from Pallotti Engineering College and Dr Nitin Jangitwar from CMS College have been named as coaches of the team.

 

Acting Vice-Chancellor of RTMNU Dr Madhavi Khode Chaware, Registrar Dr Raju Hivse, Board members Dr Dhananjay Welukar, Dr Indrajitsingh Randhawa, Dr Rakesh Bansod have wished the team for the all India competition. The team: Kajal Bodele, Kalyani Karwade and Arya Tumsare (JM Patel College Bhandara), Aditi Tidke (Priyadarshini Engineering College), Rinku Meshram (GHRCE and Management), Sapna Kumari and Gunjan Gupta (MWSSM Kamptee), Dhanashree Nasare (Nabira College, Katol), Sayali Gajbhaye (YCCE, Hingna), Sejal Dhole (Institute of Science), Dhanashree Hande (St Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering), Chandani Kalambe (Arvindbabu Deshmukh College, Bharsingi), Simran Paswan (Jyotiba College of Physical Education), Purnima Dahat (Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education), Gayatri Chaurangade and Renuka Devgade (GHRCE and Management).
