The Budget Session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die on Friday evening. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh informed the House that President Droupadi Murmu will address the MLAs in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly at 11:05 AM on March 24. Before her address, the President will plant a sapling on the Assembly campus. The Speaker has requested all MLAs to reach the Assembly by 10:00 AM on the day of her visit. Expressing gratitude at the conclusion of the budget session, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh thanked Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Leader of Opposition Dr. Charan Das Mahant, cabinet ministers, MLAs, Assembly Secretariat officials, and security personnel for ensuring the smooth conduct of proceedings. The budget session, which commenced on February 24, concluded today after 17 sittings, spanning approximately 111 hours of discussions. A total of 14 bills, including the Chhattisgarh
 
Appropriation Bill-2025, were passed. During the session, 2,504 questions were raised, including 1,286 starred and 1,218 unstarred questions, along with 133 supplementary questions during Question Hour. Notably, 98% of the questions were submitted online. The Assembly also received 562 call attention motions, of which 193 were accepted, while 52 were converted for Zero Hour discussions. 99 adjournment motions were also received. A total of 582 resolutions were submitted, with 202 accepted, 202 rejected, and 178 still under consideration.
