The weather in the entire State, including Jabalpur has undergone a major change due to the activation of three weather systems. Unseasonal rain, hailstorms and strong winds are being experienced despite summer conditions. On Thursday and Friday, over 20 districts experienced changed weather patterns, with some areas witnessed hail, strong winds and light rain. Similar conditions are expected to persist on Saturday as well. Over the past 24 hours, many districts experienced thunderstorms accompanied by rain were reported on Friday. The weather department has issued an alert for 30 districts. Jabalpur, Gwalior, Sagar and Shahdol divisions expected to be the most affected. Spokesman of weather department informed that at present two cyclonic circulations and a western disturbance are active in the state. Due to their impact, hailstorms, thunderstorms, rain and strong winds are occurring across Madhya Pradesh. These conditions are expected to continue on March 22 and 23.
 
It will drop daytime temperatures in many cities. Meanwhile, the weather department has issued orange alert and strong winds for many districts. The spokesman further informed that the current system will remain active till March 23. From March 24, another western disturbance is expected to become active, which will further impact the state’s weather. Currently, a western disturbance exists as a trough over Jammu. Likewise, two cyclonic systems are present over Rajasthan and south-east Madhya Pradesh at higher altitudes. Furthermore, two trough lines extending from Odisha to Karnataka are contributing to the ongoing weather changes across the State. Cloudy skies, rain and strong winds will persist till March 22–23.
