A ONE-DAY workshop on ‘Capacity Building and Skill Enhancement’ was conducted at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) on Tuesday, March 18.The workshop was organised by the Department of Library and Information Science. The event was presided over by Dr Samay Bansod, a Governornominated member of the Management Council. The chief guests included trainer P Vijayalakshmi, librarian Dr Manju Dubey from RS Mundle Arts and Commerce College, and the organising secretary Dr Mangala Hirawade. Dr Samay Bansod emphasised the importance of strategic planning to achieve any set goal. He stated that proper planning enhances inherent abilities, making success easier to attain, thereby instilling confidence in the students present. Renowned trainer P Vijayalakshmi delivered an insightful session on ‘Management Skills for Professionals’. Additionally, Dr Manju Dubey from RS Mundle Arts and Commerce College provided valuable guidance on ‘Personality Development’. The HoD and Organising Secretary, Dr Mangala Hirawade, delivered the introductory speech. The workshop proceedings were conducted by Dr Preeti Umredkar, while Dr Satyaprakash Nikose, Co-organising Secretary, proposed the vote of thanks.
