The Steel Executive Federation of India (SEFI) has ramped up efforts to secure the implementation of EPS 95 Higher Pension Scheme benefits. With delays persisting, SEFI is considering legal action against the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) to ensure that eligible workers receive their rightful pension entitlements. Additionally, the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has
endorsed this move, granting approval to its various PF Trusts to pursue the matter through legal channels.
According to N K Banchhor, Chairman of SEFI and President of BSP Officers Association (BSP-OA), SEFI has been relentlessly advocating for EPS 95 Higher Pension benefits since 2017.
