Anthony guides Commercial to win

AMIT Anthony starred with the bat as Commercial Department defeated TMO by 26 runs in the ongoing SECR DRM Cup Inter-Department Cricket Tournament being organised by South East Central Railway Sports Association at its Motibagh Stadium.
Batting first, Commercial Department posted 103 for five in stipulated 10 overs with Anthony hitting 32 runs. He was ably supported by Bikash Chaudhary who scored 38.
For TMO Rakesh Bhaisare took two wickets. In reply, TMO were restricted at 77-9. Kamaljit Sahu scored 26 runs. For Commercial Bikash Chaudhari and Kundan took two wickets apiece.
In another match, Engineering Department beat All Department DGG by 31 runs. Engineering posted 81 in 10 overs. All Department DGG were then bundled out for 50 runs only. For Engineering Rahul and Shubham Sahare scored 21 and 23 runs respectively while for All Department DGG Dharmendra Chaurasia took three wickets. Piyush Aryan scored 15 runs. For Engineering, Dinesh Yadav took three wickets.
Workshop thrashed Works Accounts (MIB) by 10 wickets in the afternoon match. Works Accounts (MIB) were restricted at 45 runs only with Sudhir Sahu bowling well taking two wickets for three runs.
Workshop then knocked off the runs in 3.3 overs. Suyog Mate scored 16 runs.
S&T defeated ELECT (G) by eight wickets in the last match of the day. ELECT (G) scored 42 in 10 overs and S&T scored the required runs in 5.3 overs losing two wickets. Hitesh Raikwar scored 13 runs.
