Kalagunj Bahuddeshiya Sanstha’s play ‘Lekhika’, written and directed by Manish Choudhary, secured fourth prize under the production category in the final round of the 63rd Hindi State Drama Competition.
The play also got five individual awards under the acting and technical categories.
Roshani Selokar won a silver medal for Best Acting for her character of ‘Jaee’. Manish Choudhary received a certificate of merit for acting for his role as ‘Jivan’. Punyasheel Lambat won the first prize for set design, Pranav Kore won the second prize for lighting design, and Rashmi Lande won the third prize under the make-up category. The competition featured 58 Hindi plays staged across Pune, Nagpur, and Mumbai.
