Following up on various agreements signed with industry big wigs during Davos summit, a cabinet sub-committee chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis cleared 12 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) worth Rs 3,02,333 crore for Nagpur Division. These investments have potential to generate employment for 76,485 persons. Maharashtra Government is aggressively promoting industrial growth in the State by bringing big ticket investments and creating huge number of jobs in the process. Total 17 MoUs were approved out of the 51 MoUs signed earlier at the World Economic Forum 2025, Davos in the meeting.
 
The approval will give huge boost to the industrial development especially in the backward areas of Vidarbha. Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister, Uday Samant, Industries Minister, Adv Ashish Shelar, Minister of Information Technology and Cultural Affairs and other senior officials were present at the meeting held on Tuesday.
