The issue of water scarcity especially during summers has not only worried the common man but the children are also concerned about the same. In order to save water, Class 8th student Aranneel Paul came up with an innovative idea and connected the water purifier’s outlet with the cooler. The waste water coming out of the RO machine, instead of getting wasted, is now being used by him to fill the cooler of his house. He used a connector to join the water outlet of the RO machine and the cooler. Not only the innovation helped save water but it also ensured that the impure water coming out of the purifier is used appropriately in cooler so that it can help keep his home cool in the sizzling summer. Notably, the school boy always enthusiastically participates in science events as he is keenly interested in making science models. He is also good in his studies and has won gold medal. He aspires to be aspires to be a scientist and his mother Dr Swarnali Das Paul is a pharmacy professor in Bhilai.
