WITH the support of Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of MSME (GoI), PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PHDCCI) successfully organised the One-day IP Awareness Programme as part of the National IP Outreach Mission in Viksit Bharat at IGKV, Krishak Nagar, Raipur on Friday.
The workshop featured esteemed guests including Principal Investigator and CEO of RKVY Raftaar Agri-Business Incubator (IGKV) Dr Hulas Pathak and Scientist Chhattisgarh State Council of Science and Technology Dr Amit Dubey.
In his welcome address, Nikkhil Agrawal expressed his pleasure in hosting this Intellectual Property (IP) awareness programme in collaboration with the MSME Ministry (GoI). In his keynote address, Dr Hulas Pathak encouraged entrepreneurs to actively implement their ideas, stating that knowledge should be shared but execution is key.
He highlighted the vast potential for innovation in the agriculture sector given the immense market for new agricultural products and technologies. He pointed out that IGAU conducts extensive research, presenting numerous opportunities for groundbreaking advancements in this domain.
Scientist at the Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology Dr Amit Dubey reinforced the importance of not just conducting research but ensuring its practical application. He proudly mentioned that India has produced over 4 lakh research papers globally, the highest in the world, but emphasised that the true impact of research lies in its commercial and societal applications. Drawing parallels to global success stories, he referenced how Microsoft transformed the computer industry and highlighted India’s leadership in AI applications. He urged entrepreneurs to take control of their packaging and branding to maximise their benefits, warning that outsourcing these aspects could shift the advantages to external entities. He also provided an insightful explanation of the SCIPP Scheme of the Ministry of MSME.
The technical session featured engaging discussions led by Assistant Manager of Agri Business Incubator (IGKV) Ashish Verma, Founder and CEO of Fasal Bazar Kuldeep Patel, Founderof One Cup Davesh Patel, Founder of Rice Bowl Nipur Verma and Sajal Malhotra, Startup Founder, Atmeek Bharat. Resident Director Sumit Dubey proposed a vote of thanks.
