In strict adherence to the firm directives of Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan, the municipal corporation is taking stringent action against those who are adversely affecting air quality. In this ongoing effort, a substantial fine of Rs 5,000 was imposed on a construction site in Vivekananda Nagar Colony, Ward 67, under Zone 15, for proceeding without a green net.

The responsible party was also given a stern warning to immediately install a green net. Under the clear instructions of Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan, the Municipal Corporation is conducting continuous and effective operations against those polluting the city’s air quality. Consequently, construction work was underway at plot number 154 in Vivekananda Nagar Colony, Ward 67, within Zone 15, without the mandatory green net. The building owner’s decision to conduct construction without a green net was severely impacting air quality, causing considerable inconvenience to nearby residents. The Assistant Health Officer of Zone 15 imposed an immediate fine of Rs 5,000 on Mohan Pandey, the contractor of Hariom Som, the owner of plot number 154, and issued a strict order to install a green net without delay. Residents of the area breathed a sigh of relief following this prompt and decisive action by the corporation.
