The accused, identified as Rithik Yadavanshi (24) and Sumit Kumar (25), were apprehended under stringent legal provisions after a complaint highlighted their life-threatening antics.
On March 1, complainant Manish Lalwani approached Koh-e-Fiza Police Station to report a motorcyclist
speeding dangerously on VIP Road.
The rider, later identified as Yadavanshi, was seen weaving through traffic while his female pillion rider and another male companion allegedly made obscene gestures at other commuters.

Acting on directives from Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-3) Riyaaz Iqbal and Additional DCP Shalini Dikshit, a joint team from Koh-e-Fiza Police and Bhopal Traffic Police launched an investigation.
Under the supervision of ACP Anil Vajpayee, the accused were tracked down and arrested. Their motorcycle was impounded, and both were sent to judicial custody. Authorities have also written to the Transport Department to initiate license revocation proceedings against Yadavanshi. Meanwhile, the female accomplice remains unidentified, with police intensifying efforts to locate her.
he operation was executed by Koh-e-Fiza Station In-Charge Inspector Vijendra Marskole, Traffic In-Charge Ram Das Kaushal, and team members including Sub-Inspectors Bana Singh Pawar, Antarram Yadav, Khuman Singh, and constables Naveen and Pradeep Kaushal. Their co-ordinated efforts underscore the department’s zero-tolerance stance toward traffic violations. Senior officials emphasised that such dangerous stunts jeopardise innocent lives and will face strict legal consequences.
