On the eighth day of the budget session of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, on Thursday Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Bhawana Bohra raised the issue of economic crisis in Louh Purush Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cooperative Sugar Factory Pandariya in Kabirdham district through a call attention motion. Bohra demanded that sugarcane farmers should be immediately paid their pending amount and financial support should be provided immediately to Louh Purush Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cooperative Sugar Factory, Pandariya.

 

In his reply, Cooperative Minister Kedar Kashyap said that the Louh Purush Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cooperative Sugar Factory had started functioning from 2016-17 and it had suffered due to financial mismanagement. On demands of BJP memebers, Kashyap said that a delegation of the officers from the Cooperative Department would send to Louh Purush Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cooperative Sugar Factory to assess the financial condition of the Factory. Minister Kashyap assured in the House that all support would be provided by the State government for the smooth functioning of the sugar factory.
