Congress party honoured female journalists with ‘Kalam Veerangana Samman’ in a function held at state Congress party office Rajiv Bhawan in the state capital on Thursday. The programme was organised by Communication Department of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) as part of International Women’s Day celebrations. All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary for Punjab Bhupesh Baghel, State Congress President Deepak Baij and AICC Joint Secretary for Chhattisgarh Vijay Jangid honoured the female journalists with shawl and memento in the function.

 

Bhupesh Baghel, Deepak Baij and Vijay Jangid addressed the programme and they congratulated them. CPCC’s Communication Department Chairman Sushil Anand Shukla also addressed the programme. State Congress Senior Spokesman Dhananjay Singh Thakur conducted the proceedings of the programme. State Congress Senior Spokesman Surendra Verma proposed the vote of thanks. Mahendra Chhabra, Dipti Dubey, Ajay Sahu, Nitin Bhansali, Satyaprakash Singh, Ajay Gangwani, Parvez Ahmad and Rishabh Chandrakar were present.
