forces have recovered
a huge cache of arms, explosives
and other Naxal-related materials in forests of Jabbagatta under
the limits of Chintalnar police
station in Sukma district. A joint
team of District Police Force and
the 223rd Battalion of the CRPF
launched a search operation.
The forces set out from
the newly- established Raigudem
camp towards the Jabbagatta
forest region, where they discovered the hidden stockpile
intended for attacks on security
personnel.
The recovered materials include three country-made
muzzle-loading guns, six iron
spikes, two tiffin bombs with an
estimated capacity of 1.5 kg each,
around 20 kg of urea-based explosive material, 15 meters of electrical wire, 5 solar batteries, one
mosquito net, 20 ordinary battery and 2 Claymore mine pipes.
Naxal literature, a plastic drum,
medicines were also recovered.
