PRISM Johnson Limited (Prism
Cement) celebrated
International Women’s Day with
great enthusiasm, on Saturday.
All women employees working
at the plant were invited and
honoured during the event. The
celebration commenced with a
cake-cutting ceremony, conducted in presence of all women
employees by Manish Kumar
Singh, President & Plant Head and
Manish Kumar Sinha, Senior Vice
President HRM & Corporate
Affairs. Providing details about
the event, Devendra Mishra,
AGM CSR & Public Relations
informed that the programme
was organised at Eco Park, Rewa,
where several fun-filled activities
were arranged for women.
Addressing the gathering,
Manish Kumar Singh, President
and Plant Head, said, “Today is
a day of pride and honour for all
of us. International Women’s Day
is celebrated worldwide on
March 8 and we are proud to celebrate this special occasion with
great joy at Prism Johnson
Limited. The theme for
International
Women’s Day 2025
is ‘Invest in Women, Accelerate
Progress.’ This theme sends a
strong message that if we invest
in women’s development, the
progress of society as a whole
becomes possible. Investing in
women is not just about financial support but also about creating a conducive environment
for their empowerment.”
Manish Kumar Sinha, Senior
Vice President HRM & Corporate
Affairs, further highlighted the
contribution of women across
various fields and said, “History
is a witness to the fact that women
have proven their capabilities in
every domain. Be it education,
science, politics, business, sports,
or arts, women have left a significant mark everywhere.
Investing in women is not just
about financial aid but also about
providing them with access to
education, healthcare, safety and
leadership opportunities.”
The
event was graced by the presence
of several senior executives,
including RL Deshmukh (Senior
Vice President – Technical),
Dinesh Kumar (Senior Vice
President – Technical), Praveen
Srivastava (Senior Vice President
– Technical), Anuj Bhoothra
(Assistant Vice President – HR),
