THE Department of Pharmacy of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University excelled in the recently concluded inter-college Vidarbha-level competition.
The multi-sport competition was held at Taywade Institute of Diploma in Pharmacy.
The students of RTMNU’s Pharmacy Department won several medals bringing laurels to the varsity.
Fatima Nissan won four gold medals in sprint races.
She collected the yellow metals in 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m runs. Her performance was lauded by all and she received the best woman athlete of the competition.
Aditya Hirulkar won a gold medal in table tennis event while Shatabdi Lonare won silver in the same event.
Amol Rane won bronze medal in 800m run. Director of Pharmacy Department Dr Prashant Puranik lauded the efforts of all the participants of the department.
Aditya Wadalkar, Aniket Ambadawe, Harshal Gajbhiye, Rohit Bunde, Adesh Shambharkar, Yash Fukat and Vedant Dongre were the participants from the department.
