Satna’s Bhavana wins Young Scientist Award at 40th edition of MP Young Scientist Congress

Over 250 research papers were presented and Bhavana secured first position in Mathematics and Science category
Bhavana Singh Parihar, a resident of Satna, has brought laurels to the district by winning Young Scientist Award at 40th edition of Madhya Pradesh Young Scientist Congress. The event was organised at Vikram University, Ujjain, from March 27 to 29, 2025.
Over 250 research papers were presented at the conference and Bhavana secured first position in Mathematics and Science category. She was awarded a cash prize of Rs 25,000 in recognition of her outstanding work.
Bhavana is currently pursuing her PhD at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal.
She had earlier received Young Scientist Award at the India International Science Festival 2023, adding another feather to her cap.
Her parents, Narendra Singh Parihar and Vandana Singh Parihar, expressed immense pride on her achievements. A meritorious student from the beginning, Bhavana had won a Gold Medal in her Master’s programme. She completed her schooling up to class 10 from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Prism School, where she actively participated in various competitions.
Notably, in class 8, she along with four other students secured third place in a quiz competition held in Indore, bringing recognition to her school.
Bhavana’s success has been widely appreciated by educationists from both Satna and Bhopal and she has emerged as a role model for young scientists.
