Construction to be completed quickly, says Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule

Of these six police stations, four would cover crucial highways in the Nagpur district. The establishment of Wadoda, Bazargaon, Pachgaon and Kanholibara police stations along the highways would help increase police presence, maintain traffic and reduce accidents on the roads. The Kanholibara Police Station will be established by transferring the area from Hingna Police Station, which falls under the Nagpur Police Commissionerate.

To improve safety and security in Nagpur district, the State Government has decided to build six new police stations. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has asked Government officials to speed up the construction of these stations. The meeting was also attended by the Chief Minister’s Secretary, Dr Shrikar Pardeshi and Police Commissioner Dr R K Singal. Minister Bawankule shared that the new police stations will be built in six locations: Wadoda, Bazargaon, Mohpa, Pachgaon, Nand, and Kanholibara. These stations will help strengthen security in rural areas and provide quicker assistance to citizens.

The new stations are essential to control crime effectively and ensure safety, said Bawankule in the meeting. The Government is prioritising this project and has instructed all departments to complete the work as soon as possible. Dr Shrikar Pardeshi assured full support for the project at the administrative level during the meeting. These new police stations are expected to reduce crime in villages and make citizens feel safer. This decision will be an important step towards better law and order in rural areas, said Bawankule. He has urged officials to finish the work quickly to ensure the stations are up and running soon.
