Navya Gupta, a Rifle Shooter from Sanskardhani, has been selected to participate in Khelo India Youth Games. Navya had claimed silver medal in the 68th Inter-School SGFI National Competition held last year. On the basis her excellent performance in the competition, she has been selected for Khelo India Youth Games. It may be mentioned that Navya is the only shooter from Jabalpur who get selected for Khelo India Youth Games to be organised in Bihar from May 4 to 15, 2025.

 

The participant players will have the opportunity for selection in the Khelo India Programme of the Government of India. After selection, the government bears all the expenses of the selected player’s training. It may be mentioned that Navya won bronze medal in the recently concluded 10-meter Air Rifle Sub-Youth Women Category in India Open Shooting Competition, with 622.7 score. Navya obtains training under the supervision of Senior Coach, Nishant Nathwani and Assistant Coach, Shakti Chakraborty at Gun For Glory Shooting Academy, Jabalpur.
