GIRISH Dewani and Rohit Sial pair started their campaign with win over Adit Chhajed-Saurabh Gupta in the Central Provinces Club’s Late Advocate MB Naidu Snicket Tournament at the Billiards Room of the Club. The Dewani-Sial pair registered 126-111 win over their rivals. In the first frame, Dewani-Sial scored 66 and cornered Adit and Saurabh at 49 in the second. In the third frame, Dewani-Sial scored 60 and gave a lead of 77 to their opponents. However, in the fourth and final frame, Chhajed and Gupta were restricted at 62. In another game, Nikhil Surjan-Karan Kale beat Dhiraj Thuteja-Saurabh Agrawal 183-174. Potting first, Surjan-Kale scored 110 and Thutheja-Agrawal could amass 94. In the third frame Nikhil-Karan scored additional 73 and posted a target of 89 against which Dhiraj-Saurabh could manage 80.
