As a part of its newly launched Leadership Connect initiative, Ramdeobaba University (RBU) hosted a remarkable first-ever fireside chat with Satyanarayan Nuwal, Founder and Chairperson of Solar Industries India Ltd, and currently ranked 57th on the Forbes India Rich List (2025). Addressing the students, Satyanarayan Nuwal said students should choose morality over success.

The audience got a rare glimpse into the journey of Nuwal - a first-generation entrepreneur who rose from modest beginnings to head a global enterprise.
The event was graced by Rajendra Purohit, General Secretary (SRSS); Dr Rajesh Pande, Vice Chancellor; Dr Manoj Chandak, Principal; Dr Rajiv Khare, Director, III; Rupesh Pais, Director, RCOEM TBI; and other senior faculty members at RBU.
The session was moderated by Dr Deepshikha Mehra. Directors, deans, faculty, and hundreds of eager students.

n Goals at 20: “I underwent vocational training at Gayatri Parivar Haridwar to learn from ink-making to printing press skills. My only goal was business.”
n Biggest challenge: “After becoming India’s largest explosives trader, convincing people I could manufacture for India’s defence was hard.
But I saw potential. 70% of our defence imports could be made here.”
