of Bindesh Paul and Dushyant Mhaisalkar and Chaitanya Jain-Vedit Chokhani recorded wins over their respective rivals in the ongoing Central Provinces Club’s Late Adv MB Naidu Snicket Tournament at the club’s billiards hall. Paul and Mhaisalkar defeated the pair of Ajay Sharma-Manoj Jain 237-108 while Chaitanya Jain-Vedit Chokhani got the better of Mihir Shah and Jaidev Menon 131-67.

 

In the first match, Sharma-Paul scored 89 whereas Paul-Mhaisalkar pair scored 137 in the second frame and took a lead of 48. Playing the third frame, Sharma-Jain could muster only 19 points and succumbed to an innings defeat. In another match Lavesh Bajaj-Siddharth Narang defeated Adwait Agrawal-Tushar Sharma by innings with the scoreboard reading 270-86. In another match, Jain-Chokhani won against Mihir Shah and Jaidev Menon 131-67. Potting first, Jain-Chokhani scored 24 in the first frame while Shah-Menon could score only seven points. In third frame Jain-Chokhani scored a massive 107 and restricted their opponents at 60 points.
