The Twin Cities of Bhilai and Durg witnessed grand celebrations of Hanuman Janmotsav on Saturday, filled with religious devotion and vibrant enthusiasm. From the early morning, devotees gathered at various Hanuman temples across the cities to offer prayers and seek blessings. Devotees celebrated the occasion by reciting Hanuman Chalisa and Sunderkand, singing devotional songs, and dancing with joy.

Loud chants of Jai Shri Ram and Bajrang Bali ki Jai echoed in every corner, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. Major temples like Sankatmochan Hanuman Mandir in Sector-9 and Shri Panchmukhi Bajrang Temple in Kasaridih drew large crowds. Devotees stood in long queues for darshan and to receive Mahaprasad (Bhandara), which was distributed in the afternoon.

Colorful processions featuring Lord Hanuman’s tableaus and saffron flags were taken out from several neighborhoods in Bhilai and Durg. These processions passed through various localities and returned to the temples, where they concluded. The processions became a major highlight of the celebrations, attracting people of all ages. Several other temples including Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple in Brahmanpara, Dakshinmukhi Hanuman Temple near the New Bus Stand, Agrasen Chowk Hanuman Temple, Langurveer Temple in Shanichari Bazar, Killa Mandir in Tamerpara, and Maruti Temple in Baniapara also celebrated the festival with full devotion and festive spirit. Public representatives visited the temples.
