Sandeep Jain-Faiz Vali and Abhishek Rai-Sunil Kamwani recorded an innings victory over the respective opponents in the Central Provinces Club’s Late Advocate MB Naidu Snicket Tournament. In the opening match of the evening, Jain-Vali pair thrashed Ashish Agrawal-Pritesh Tank by an innings (156-41). Agrawal-Tank could muster 23 against which Jain-Vali set a target of 56 in the second frame. Agrawal-Tank needed to score 33 in the third frame and also were required to take a lead against Jain-Vali. However, Jain-Vali cornered Agrawal-Tank at 18 in the third frame and won the match by an innings to spare. They were awarded additional 110 points for innings win. In another match, Abhishek Rai-Sunil Kamwani pair drubbed Sandeep Jain-Faiz Vali 319-54.

 

Kamwani-Rai duo set a score of 207 while Jain-Vali could muster 24 points. Following-on, Jain-Vali were again cornered by Kamwani-Rai at 30. Kamwani-Rai got additional 100 points and another 12 points for fouls committed by their opponents. In the third match of the evening, Avaneesh Sapra-Sahil Kamwani beat Pritesh Tank-Ashish Agrawal 138-110. Agrawal-Tank scored 61 in the first frame. Sapra-Kamwani secured 128 to take a lead of 67. In the third frame, Sapra-Kamwani ousted Agrawal-Tank at 49.
