Yeh Jaane Anjaane Chhayakaar 2025 Works of Padmakar, Ravindra bag top prize at photography competition

The results of the photography competition and exhibition - ‘Yeh Jaane Anjaane Chhayakaar 2025’, being organised for the past 48 years in the memory of the city's artist late Shashin Yadav, were declared on Tuesday.
Under Black & White category, first prize was bagged by Padmakar Gade (Indore), second prize by Parth Pratim Shah (Kolkata) while the third prize by Chinmay Bhattacharya (Kolkata). The consolation prizes of this category were bagged by Akhil Hardia (Indore), Kailash Mittal (Indore), Mukesh Shrivastava (Dhanbad), Prakash Hathwale (Bhopal), Divyansh Raj (Bhopal), Suresh Khare (Vadodara), Sita Nath Paul (Kolkata), Vivek Joshi (Mumbai), JP Sahani (Orissa), Himanshuray Bose, Ashu Patel (Indore) and Nomesh Dubey, respectively.
Under coloured category, Ravindra Puntambekar (Pune) won first prize while the second and third prizes were claimed by Kailash Mittal (Indore) and Sachin Gotiya (Jabalpur). The consolation prizes were won by Vivek Joshi (Mumbai), Prakash Hathawale (Bhopal), Ashu Patel (Indore), Mukesh Shrivastava (Dhanbad), Deshbhushan Jain (Delhi), Uttam Das, Praveen Barnale (Indore), JP Sahani (Orissa), Suresh Khare, Shridhar Chaudhary (Japan), Palash Raikwar, Gurvinder Chhabra (Indore), Anushree.
Similarly, under Wildlife and Nature category, Ashish Bind (Allahabad) and Ghanshyam Kothari (Indore) were the winners of first and second prizes, respectively, whereas the third prize was shared by Chinta Haran Ghosh (Kolkata) and Dilip Katiyar (Jabalpur).
The consolation prizes were won by Akhil Hardia (Indore), Rishabh Vyas (Bhopal), Aman Kumar Mishra, Mandeep Singh Chhabra (Indore), Jai Tripathi, Gurvinder Singh Chhabra (Indore), Dr. Animesh Saxena (Bhopal), Dr. Rohit Bhandari, Ajay Arnold, Utkarsh Srivastava, Sachin Matkar (Indore), Sanjay Gupta, Shridhar Chaudhary (Japan).
Around 1400 photographs were received for this competition from 200 contestants from India and abroad. The prizes will be distributed at the hands of Mayor, Jagat Bahadur Singh at Rani Durgavati Museum on April 16, 2025 at 5.30 pm.
The ceremony will be organised in presence of Chairperson, Jabalpur Municipal Corporation, Rikunj Vij, educationist Dr. Chhaya Rai and senior journalist Ravindra Bajpai.
The jury of this competition included Sugan Jat, Basant Mishra, Sanjeev Chaudhary, Navneet Maheshwari, Ajit Narang, A. Rajeshwar Rao and Pramod Badhsamudrkar.
