KIMS Kingsway Hospitals has achieved a historic milestone by successfully performing 50 robotic-assisted surgeries using the state-of-the-art Da Vinci Surgical Robot System. This groundbreaking achievement marks a transformative moment in medical science offering patients an advanced, minimally invasive option with faster recovery times, reduced pain, and shorter hospital stays. The pioneering initiative was led by Dr Sushil Lohiya, along with his team of highly experienced surgeons. Their collective efforts have established KIMS Kingsway Hospitals as a center of excellence (COE) for robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) in Central India.

 

The success of these robotic-assisted surgeries is attributed to a highly skilled team of surgeons, including - Dr Vasudev Ridhorkar (Urology Surgeon); Dr Sushil Lohiya (General Surgeon); Dr Prakash Jain (General Surgeon); Dr Saurabh Varshney (Cardiac surgeon); D . Deepak Goel (Pediatric Surgeon); Dr Krunal Khobragade (Onco surgeon; Dr Sweta Lohiya (ENT Specialist); and Dr Arti Patil (Gynaecologist). Their combined efforts with support of the Hospital Management led by Dr Tushar Gawad (Unit Head) have ensured that patients receive world-class treatment at affordable rates to a broader population.
