Saloon workers in Saoner tehsil who were trained under PM Vishwakarma Scheme have demanded disbursal of the salon kit worth Rs 15,000 or cash of same amount included in the scheme, that is pending even one year after completion of the their training programme.
The PM Vishwakarma scheme was launched by the Central Government to provide self-employment to the youths and had invited online application.
The applicants were provided training and also given prescribed allowances along with the certificates on completion of their training programme. However, the trainees have not received the Rs fifteen thousand rupees for materials or Rs fifteen thousand rupees in the form of a toolkit even after a year.
The concerned salon workers have repeatedly asked the concerned department about the material tool kit. However, they have not received the tool kit yet. The salon craftsmen who have received the training certificate under the Vishwakarma scheme in the tehsil have demanded that the concerned department of the Government to provide the material toolkit or an amount equal to it to the certified salon owners immediately.
