A new chapter was added to the history of Chhattisgarh cinema with the launch of trailers of two mega films simultaneously in a glittering event for the first time ever in Raipur. The launching programme brought together some of the biggest names in the regional film industry. Much anticipated trailers of Hindi-Chhattisgarhi film Janki Part-1 and Chhattisgarhi film Guiyan-2, both produced under the banner of N Mahi Films Production were officially unveiled at a grand event held in Shyam Talkies premises in the city.

 

The event drew an enthusiastic crowd, featuring the entire cast and crew of both films, producers, directors and prominent figures from the Chhattisgarhi film industry. Producers Satish Jain, Manoj Verma, Niraj Vikram, Gajendra Shrivastava, Santosh Jain, Rocky Daswani and Bharti Verma, Shyam Talkies owner Labhansh Tiwari and former councilor Kiran Sahu graced the launching programme. Trailers of both movies met with huge applause with audiences thrilled by the high production value, compelling storytelling and powerful performances teased in the clips. Producer Mohit Kumar Sahu expressed his gratitude during the launch.

 

He said, “I sincerely thank the people of Chhattisgarh for the overwhelming response and support to Guiyan-1. The love showered has motivated us to return with Guiyan-2, which promises to take the story and the experience to the next level”. Guiyan-2 is slated release on May 2 while Janki Part-1 will have its grand release on June 13.
