Governor Ramen Deka provided beneficiary-oriented material to the beneficiaries under various government schemes in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district on Thursday. Governor presented tricycles to Bhagyavati Kumari of Gram Panchayat Maharajganj and Rajesh Kumar Poya of village Pakradi. These beneficiaries were benefitted under the scheme of the Social Welfare Department. Kanta of Gram Panchayat Daura, Bhagmania Singh of Kapildevpur village and Pushpendra Porte of Kari Chalgali village were provided motorised tricycles. Under the Health Department, beneficiaries of Gram Panchayat Adhaura, Baijnath and Devsharan and Kavalpati, resident of village Adhaura Khas were given Ayushman Vay Vandana Card.
Under the Prime Minister’s TB Free India Campaign, food baskets were provided to TB patients Anmol Kujur of Gram Panchayat Pasta, Sonu Oraon of Chittavishrampur village and Mankuwari of Dhejwar village under the nutritional diet.
Copies, pens, compass boxes were also presented by Governor Deka to Kumari Kareena, Kumari Lalita, Kumari Ajanti, Karan Kumar, Ashish Kumar, tribal students of Pahari Korwa Residential School, Bhelwadih, under the Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department.
Governor also felicitated Swachhagrahi Didis, who did excellent work under the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district.
Sitara Self Help Group of Gram Panchayat Mahuadih of Shankargarh, Devi Mahila Self Help Group of Gram Panchayat Phulidumar of Wadrafnagar block and the Swachhagrahi Didis of Patanjali Mahila Self Help Group of Gram Panchayat Ghutradih of Kusmi block were honoured.
Similarly, under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, cheques worth a total of Rs 68,70,000 were provided to various women self-help groups through revolving fund and bank linkage. The keys of a house were handed over to a beneficiary under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas Yojana. Governor Deka thanked the district administration for it. The Governor also held a meeting with the officers at Balrampur to review the government schemes. Collector Rajendra Katara and other district administrative officers were present in the meeting.
