In order to ensure quick disposal of crimes related to women and children, Durg Range Inspector General (IG) of Police, Ram Gopal Garg chaired a review meeting in the auditorium of the IG office.
During the meeting, the IG reviewed the crimes against women and children pending in the police stations of Durg, Balod and Bemetara districts. He asked the officials to initiate concrete steps for disposing of the pending cases while also laying stress on collection of the evidences related to the pending cases in an appropriate manner.
IG Garg said that the officials should prioritize disposing of the serious cases first.
He said that attention should be also paid for regularly updating the crimes against women and children on ITSSO portal.
