Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre (JNARDDC), Nagpur has played an active role in the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukth Abhiyan, a campaign aimed at eliminating tuberculosis in India.
Under the 100 day intensified campaign on TB elimination, JNARDDC conducted various activities in collaboration with the State Health Department, Government of Maharashtra, and Nagpur Nagar Parishad.
Their efforts included organising a Ni-kshay Shivir (Screening Camp), where over 200 people were screened for TB.
The camp was attended by prominent health officials, including Dr Vidyananad Gaikwad, District Tuberculosis Officer (Rural) and Dr Sanket Nandekar, WHO Official, Vidarbha Region.
Additionally, JNARDDC distributed food baskets and pamphlets in Zilla Parishad schools and conducted awareness sessions at various forums.
