The bus terminus at Morbhavan and Ganeshpeth, which have been awaiting development for years, will now be modernised with advanced facilities. The Government has decided to build both terminuses to five-star standards. State Revenue Minister and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule announced on Saturday that a comprehensive commercial complex would be built at six locations on the land of the Zilla Parishad and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). He stated that it would create new opportunities for businesses. Bawankule reviewed various development works in a meeting held at Niyojan Bhavan. He instructed the relevant departments to coordinate with each other to complete renovation work at locations such as Santra Market, Netaji Market, Dahi Bazaar, Itwari Market, Flower Market and Dik Dispensary in Dharampeth within the next three months. Zilla Parishad land in Ajni, Zingabai Takli and Badkas Chowk to provide business opportunities for women in self-help groups and other professionals. These development complexes will be set up on 9,749 sq m in Ajni, 24,432 sq m in Zingabai Takli, and 612 sq m in Badkas Chowk, Mahal. He instructed the Zilla Parishad to immediately complete the planning and preliminary tasks in this regard.
