The State-wide Sushasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival) commenced on Tuesday under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, witnessing enthusiastic participation from citizens across Chhattisgarh seeking resolution to their problems. People in both rural and urban areas applied since morning on the first day. In the first phase of the initiative, which will run from April 8 to 11, applications are being accepted at all gram panchayats, urban local bodies, and district headquarters to address the concerns of the common people. In Raipur, Collector Dr Gaurav Singh visited various municipal wards, encouraging residents to submit their applications. He inspected the application process at the Zone No. 4 Municipal Corporation office and several gram panchayats, urging people to apply freely to resolve their issues. Mahasamund district has established Samadhan Box (Solution Box) facilities at the Collectorate, Janpad, and Tehsil offices. Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh has deployed 51 nodal officers to ensure the smooth conduct of Sushasan Tihar.

He personally visited several Gram Panchayats, reviewing the application process and instructing officials to ensure citizens face no difficulties. Employees have been stationed at various centers to assist applicants. Dhamtari District Collector Abinash Mishra, along with District Panchayat CEO Roma Srivastava and Sub-Divisional Revenue Officers, today inspected the application process in Potiyadih, Parastarai, and other Gram Panchayats. They directed officials to provide assistance to illiterate applicants for writing their applications. The Collector emphasized that no one should be denied the opportunity to apply. Subsequently, he visited the Hatkeshar ward in the municipal corporation area, interacting with women and other residents, encouraging them to submit applications for the resolution of their demands and problems in large numbers.

In Jagdalpur and Balod districts, “Samadhan Peti” (Solution Chest) facilities have been set up at all villages, urban wards, and government offices, including the Collector’s office, to receive applications from the public. Vikram Chandrakar, a resident of Parasada village in Mahasamund district, has applied for the digging of a tube well to address the village’s drinking water scarcity, expressing optimism about a resolution. Similarly, Dulari Bai Tarak from Khairabhata village lauded the government’s initiative for providing a platform to voice their demands and problems. The primary objective of Sushasan Tihar is to ensure the timely resolution of public grievances, review the implementation of government welfare schemes, expedite development projects, and foster direct communication with the public, public representatives, and social organizations. The initiative is structured in three phases: application receipt April 8-11, 2025, application resolution (within approximately one month), and Samadhan camps May 5-31, 2025.
