CA PRAFULLA Chhajed, President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will be in city on October 18, for full day workshop on GST organised by GST and Indirect Taxes Committee, ICAI and hosted by Nagpur Branch of WIRC of ICAI at 9.30 am at Hotel Tuli Imperial, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur. He is visiting Nagpur for the first time after assuming charge as President, ICAI. The workshop would be formally inaugurated and addressed by CA Prafulla Chhajed, President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

 

In the first technical session CA Bimal Jain, from New Delhi will present a paper on ‘GST – Burning issues and way forward (including ITC)’. In the second technical session CA Venugopal G, from Bangalore will present a paper on ‘GST Journey – Then and Now’. CA Suren Duragkar, Chairman and CA Saket Bagdia, Secretary of the Nagpur Branch have requested the members to attend in large numbers and take the benefit of this workshop. Six hours CPE credit shall be granted to the members of the institute attending the workshop.
