19 Resonance Nagpur students selected for Regional Mathematics Olympiad

Resonance – the epitome of Knowledge and success has once again created history as 19 students from Resonance Nagpur have moved a step forward to International Olympiads in Mathematics. Pre- RMO as popularly known, is a qualifying round for the same. The next level is called Regional Mathematics Olympiad conducted under the auspice of Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education or HBCSE. The RMO is 2nd out 6 stages in the Global Mathematics Academic tournament. It is worth mentioning here that only 711 students in total have been shortlisted from whole Maharashtra and Goa region. It is assimilated that this is probably the highest number of selections from Vidarbha.

The selectees will now undergo a rigorous preparation for further stages as only a few are funnelled down to be chosen to represent the country on the world stage in one of the biggest academic extravaganza. Resonance has earlier also produced the Stalwarts to be a part of it, Resonance has already bagged not one or two but overall 80 Medals in such events For NTSE Stage-I Resonance has started a new free online test series for the aspiring candidates which a student can get registered for at any of the centres.
