K S Metals & Mining to take over UltraTech crushing plant

City-based company K S Metals and Mining Pvt Ltd is in process of taking over UltraTech crushing and mining plant at Algandhi, near Butibori.
 
 
 
 
“We will be allotted 77 acres of mining land which is the largest area for a private player. The plant will be having installed capacity to crush 60,000 metric tones per month. The capacity can be increased by installing another unit,” disclosed K S Cheema, Chairman and Managing Director of the company, while talking to The Hitavada on Wednesday. Cheema said, the deal is on the completion stage which will be funded by Union Bank of India.
 
“The project is for supporting the infrastructure development of the city and we are happy that the Government is also helping us in bigger way,” he said. He said, the UltraTech company has decided to take itself out of the retail business.
“The plant will generate direct employment for 300 people and indirect employment to 3000 people. The infrastructure development has increased demand of raw material like bolder, cement etc. We are gearing up to deliver goods on time, ,” Cheema added.
 
He also added, “We are very small entrepreneur to take over the corporate giant. We have done lot of homework to meet the demand of infrastructure development taking place in Vidarbha.”
He also emphasised that the on going infrastructure development work in the region requires many such type of plants to fulfil the requirement and get the projects to be completed in time. The process of taking over of UltraTech crushing plant by K S Metals and Mining Pvt Ltd may take around 30 days to become reality, Cheema said.
