ANITA Rao, an entrepreneur and mentor, Joint Secretary of Vidarbha Industries Association has been invited to present a paper on ‘Entrepreneurship’ at the Strategic Interdisciplinary Business Research (SIBR) conference at Sydney on January 10 and 11. The theme of the conference is ‘The interdisciplinary edge in turbulent markets’. Anita Rao a post graduate in Economics and Industrial Relations holds an MBA degree too. She is the recipient of 12 awards for excellence in entrepreneurship, which includes two national and one international award.

 

She was invited by the Andhra Pradesh Government to attend the National Women’s Parliament in Vijaywada. She is a profile writer on entrepreneurship and start ups. She is presently pursuing Ph D in Entrepreneurship and the start up eco system. The conference will see the presence of delegates from more than 100 countries, with Prof Ofer Zwikael from the University of Australia as the key note speaker. Strategic Interdisciplinary Business Research conference is an important platform.
