Sanjay Gupta, owner of Hotel The Nagpur Ashok, who is about to turn 50, recently donated Rs 21 lakh to different social organisations working for welfare of poor and orphans. He donated the sum in presence of many dignitaries from Nagpur at a special function. Gupta donated the money to Shree Shraddhanand Anathalaya, the organisation working for orphans; Adivasi Phase Pardhi Sudhar Samiti, the organisation helping children of Phase Pardhi community to come up and provide a social status to these children. Matin Bhosle received the cheque.
Apart from this, Gupta also gave financial aid to Yogyahyasi Mandal which runs Yoga training center free of cost and helps the patients to get rid of the problems. Gupta has also helped the Deendayal Thali, the organisation provides food to the poor patients and their relatives who can’t afford even food; Amrapali Utkarsh Sangh, the organisation working to help poor children. Rambhau Ingole received the cheque. He also gave funds to Maharashtra Arya Vaishya Samaj, Mahalaxmi Mandir Koradi, Lions Club, MJF Fund, Telangkhedi Hanuman Mandir, Shri Poddareshwar Ram Mandir, Ram Rasoi of Radhakrishna Hospital, Narayan Kutumb Sanstha, Neki Ka Pitara and other organisations.
Expressing his views, Gupta said that his customers and well wishers of Hotel The Nagpur Ashok had given him strength to donate. Sanjay Gupta also provided around Rs 10 lakh per year for betterment of life of their 30 team members without deducting employee share. He has planned that his employees should get Rs 25 lakh to Rs 70 lakh at the time of retirement and also employee and his family get the protection of life long pension.
