PRIDE of the city and nation, Shreya Agrawal clinched a gold and a bronze medal in Rifle Shooting events at 13th South Asian Games in Kathmandu (Nepal) on Tuesday. Representing the Indian team, Shreya bagged a gold medal in women’s 10-metre Air Rifle team event and won a bronze medal in 10-metre Air Rifle Women.
Being a junior category player, Shreya has been selected to represent Indian team in senior category for the first time on the basis of her previous remarkable performances. She had won a gold and silver medal in recently held Asian Shooting Championship in Doha. Till now, Shreya has won total 15 medals for the country in several international competitions. She is being trained under the guidance of Coach Nishant Nathwani since last four years at Gun for Glory Shooting Academy, Jabalpur.
