Zalke had intervened in the matter, but as Bihare was unrelenting, he directed two tankers to be deployed in the areas she had suggested.

Following this, on Thursday, Zalke took stock of the situation in Nehru Nagar Zone. He asked the officials to prepare a plan for supply of water to the people in the zone for a month. The frequency of water supply through tankers should be increased, he asked Orange City Water officials. Zalke directed the officials concerned to take action against such people. He said, there should be balance in supply of water through tankers to different areas.
