JABALPUR has tremendous potential of development in tourism, education, health and agriculture sectors. Best implementation of Government schemes and providing its benefits to needy and overall development of district in a planned manner are top priorities. Jabalpur is known as Sanskardhani and there is need to bring Sanskar (culture) amongst residents to discipline traffic system and materialise concept of Smart City,” said new Jabalpur Collector Bharat Yadav (IAS). He was interacting with the media soon after assuming charge as new Collector of Jabalpur, on Wednesday.
 
 
Collector Bharat Yadav said that his experience of longest service tenure of 11 years in Mahakoshal region will definitely prove fruitful in fulfilling requirements of district and improve lifestyle of residents. Yadav said that he has experience of shouldering responsibility in urban and rural areas and he will make efforts to bridge the gap in materialising development works in urban and rural areas. He emphasised on providing essential services in rural areas in the district to provide better implementation of development and welfare schemes and development of agriculture sector.
 
 
He believes in maintaining better coordination between all the authorities concerned and eminent citizens for better execution of development works. Newly joined Collector stated that it is his first posting in Jabalpur and he will soon understand requirements of urban and rural areas and need of people to effectively implement development and welfare works in a phased manner. Earlier, Bharat Yadav took blessings from Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Maharaj at Dayodaya and offered prayers to Goddess Narmada before assuming charge as Jabalpur Collector. He took charge from Chief Executive Officer of Jila Panchayat Rajni Singh and interacted with senior officers and heads of different departments.
