Tsecond, with a focus of making innovative products with cutting edge technology has made a breakthrough in the fluid measurement industry. Founded in 2014, with a dream to bring a change in the world through innovation and technology. The time when very less investors were interested in the hardware space, Tsecond had a different vision. Tsecond has successfully built an IoT device, a fluid monitoring system which has the potential to revolutionise the fluid measurement industry. In this round, Tsecond has raised approximately USD 370,000.
This funding shall be utilised for scaling-up the production, managing working capital and hiring new talent. Tsecond has raised a total amount of funding of around USD 750,000 to date. This round was led by a US Based Tech Fund, LEPL USA, INC, a wholly owned subsidiary of FutureTech Holding Company. Headquartered in Atlanta GA, FutureTech Holding Company under the leadership of Sravan Vellanki, CEO and Chairman, is transpired to be a pioneer in Information Technology (IT) and IT Enabled Services alongwith healthcare, financial and other technology sectors. Other investors who participated in this round includes Jayant Chopde, CEO at Emergys Corporation, John Janakiraman - CTO at Emergys Corporation and Jai Shankar, CSO / Founder at Emergys Corporation. Sahil Gurucharan Chawla, after completing his graduation in computer science engineering, worked briefly in the IT sector. Post which in 2014, he founded Tsecond. After over 4 years of hardwork and dedication which includes research & development, designing, prototyping, wireframing, market validation and manufacturing, the company is poised to boom in India and other developing countries. Tsecond has been granted with the US and India patents along with copyright from the Berne Convention. The design, manufacturing and testing of the product is done using Japanese manufacturing techniques at Napino Auto Electronics Ltd, in Gurugram.
Napino is one of the leading auto electronics company in India which has marquee clients like Hero MotoCorp, Honda, Yamaha, Audi, Ford, Mahindra, Cummins, Suzuki etc. The product, E-Funnel is cloud based IoT device which is installed at the inlet of fuel/fluid tanks. It accurately measures fuel flow at the time of fuel filling itself and give real time data of fill events. Tsecond is already started developing distributor partnerships for the said countries. Looking back, a message that Sahil wants to share with budding entrepreneurs is that; “We faced tough times related to product development, team and funds, but as the old saying goes. Tough times don’t last but tough people do and so does the startup / company. When I chose the path of entrepreneurship I decided that there is no turning back. Turning your idea into reality takes lot of efforts. Sometimes I felt as if there are a million disassembled pieces of a puzzle and I have to complete it without an image, the image of the complete puzzle you hold is only in your mind.”
