State BJP President and Member of Parliament, Rakesh during his visit to Sihora, on Sunday said the BJP Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi took a historic decision in favour of farmers and businessmen. After winning Lok Sabha elections with a huge margin of votes, Singh reached Kundam, Majhgava, Sihora and Gosalpur of Sihora tehsil and extended gratitude to the voters and party workers for their massive support. On the occasion, a number of farmers of Kundam area felicitated Singh by expressing great happiness over Union Government’s decision of providing benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi and Kisan Pension Yojana to all farmers.
Speaking on the occasion, MP, Rakesh Singh said Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, during the first Cabinet meeting held on the next day of swearing-in-ceremony, cleared his intentions of providing due benefits to farmers, businessmen and common people. The Government has decided to provide Rs 6,000 annually to 14.5 crore farmers of the country under Pradhanmantri Kisan Samman Yojana. It has also ended the condition of five acre land. Singh said, now, Rs 6,000 would be directly transferred into the accounts of farmers. He said, the Government, by taking this historic decision, has decided to provided pension of Rs 3,000 per month to farmers after 60 years.
Likewise, it has also taken the decision of giving pension to small businessmen who have already attained 60 years and do not come in GST limit. He said, the Modi Government has taken the decisions, which were not declared earlier, in favour of farmers. He said, on the other hand, the State Congress Government in Madhya Pradesh is befooling people. It has yet not fulfilled its promise of loan waiver, half electricity bills and unemployment allowance. Amongst those present on the occasion were MLA Nandani Maravi, Omprakash Patel, Rajesh Dahia, Ranu Tiwari, Kamlesh Sahu, Satish Awasthi, Rajmani Singh Baghel, Krishna Shekhar Singh, Abhishekh Sing and others.
