‘Dil Mill Gayye’ fame Riddhima played by television actress Sukirti Kandpal, who has been seen in many shows like ‘Pyaar Kii Ek Kahani’ ‘Kala Teeka’, etc, is going to be seen playing a protagonist in ‘Special Crime Series’ of Star Bharat’s flagship show Savdhaan India. The actress was in City of Lakes on Thursday to promote this show. She told that ‘This show will have five part series which will showcase one story a week and will highlight the reasons why these crimes are taking place. All the Special Crimes Series stories deal with heinous crimes where the stakes are high er elevating suspense to nail-biting finishes. I am in the first series as a lead portraying a pregnant woman carrying in her fourth month.
It will be a tale of vengeance and of rural area. Having chat with ‘The Hitavada’ Sukirti told “I am really excited about this role as it is not only interesting but challenging too. This is something which is out of the box for me. I have never been a part of a project like this in my career. Saundarya was a really complex character to play and I cannot wait to see the audience reaction for my work on the show. The show is having unique line and concept where it will disseminate awareness and along with the crime stories it will reveal the reasons that why these cases take place in society.”
Commenting on the comeback of Sanjeevni part 3 “Sanjeevni 2” , Sukiriti said “I think the aura and fame of this show is really high since its first part and I have been in the second part “Dill Mill Gayye” which gave me fame, success and I would credit it as since then I rose to fame. I am also looking forward to watch it.” Throwing light on her acting journey, she stated that “I belong to Nainital and after my schooling I came to Mumbai where I was seen by a creative director and so I got my first show when I cleared first audition. Thereafter, I did many shows and rose to fame when I became part of “Dill Mill Gayye”. Now I am looking for ward to be part of web series as it presents film level work to people. My favourite series is “House of Cards” it’s very appealing.” “My experience of reality show is not that good as I was evicted from “Bigg Boss-8” in the second week itself so if I get chance to do it again I would say ‘Yes’.”
