Four arrested in Rajiv Khosla murder case

Sadar police have arrested four contract killers who executed murder of businessman Rishi Brij Khosla. The killers were hired by accused Girish Ashok Dasarwar on behalf of Mickey alias Rupinder Balveersingh Bakshi to eliminate Khosla, informed Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone II Vinita Shahu. Arrested accused have been identified as Rahul alias Baban Raju Kalamkar (32), a resident of Plot No 419, Jijamata Nagar; Kunal alias Chayana Suresh Hemne (21), a resident of Kharbi, Nandnanvan; Ariff Inayat Khan (21), a resident of Kharbi, Nandanvan and Aziz Ahmed alias Pangya Anis Ahmed (19), a resident of Hasanbagh, Nandanvan.
Addressing a press conference, DCP Shahu informed that Bakshi (54), a resident of Raj Nagar, and Managing Director of Youth Force Security Services (I) Pvt Ltd, met Dasarwar in jail in year 2012. Mickey was in jail in the murder case of NCP Leader Ganesh Mate. At that time, Girish too was arrested with five others for killing pool parlour owner Dinesh Bukkawan. He called Dasarwar for a meeting at his office in the month of July where they hatched conspiracy to kill Khosla. Mickey was fed up with the proceedings of family court as his wife was demanding Rs one lakh per month alimony and a flat to settle the case. She had also filed a Domestic Violence case in the court in which Mickey’s 90-year-old father was made co-accused with all family members, said DCP Shahu.
After realising Khosla was involved in illicit-relationship with his wife and also financially supporting her in the court case, Mickey decided to eliminate him. Dasarwar had hired Baban Kalamkar, an accused in three murder cases. He had given Rs 7,000/- cash to Rahul and assured of more money after the murder. Rahul and his accomplices had done a recce of Khosla for more then 15-days. On Wednesday night, the ‘killers’ had dashed their auto-rickshaw against Khosala’s car at 10 number pulia and picked up a quarrel with him. But when a large number of people gathered at the spot, the goons dropped the plan. They again chased Khosla and stopped him near Gondawana Square where they brutally killed him. The ‘killers’ had dumped the body and took away Khosla’s car.
They parked his car near Hotel LB on Mount Road, Sadar and fled in their auto-rickshaw. They were hiding at a Bauddha Vihar in Wadi. Acting on a tip-off, Sadar cops have nabbed them on Sunday afternoon. Sources informed that the police were also checking role of a cricket bookie, who is brother of Mickey Bakshi’s wife. Police Inspector of Sadar Police Station Mahesh Bansode, PI Amol Deshmukh, PSI Gosavi and staff including Gosavi, Vinod Tiwari, Sushant Salunkhe, Sudhir Madavi, Sandip Pandey, Balvir Manmode, Nishant Karade, Sunil Nilawar and others have made the arrest.
