Food Safety Department under the guidance of Food Safety Officer D K Verma conducted raids Saboro milk parlour distribution centres, Noormahal road, Lalghati. The Food Safety Department, Bhopal had received a complaint from Bhopal district senior officials about adulteration in ‘Saboro milk’ which is manufactured in Dewas district. In the light of the above, food safety officers inspected the distribution centers of Saboro milk at Bhopal, the distributors at Nurmahal Road, People’s Mills and Lalghati were examined.
According to the information, the milk comes from Lalghati and Piplani in two trucks of Sabro milk from Dewas. The said Subero milk is manufactured by the Mahindra Company, Dewas. Two samples have been taken from the distributors located at Nurmahal Road for testing milk from Saboro.
The complaint of adulteration in the said milk has been conveyed to the Chief Food Officer of Dewas district Samples of 1 paneer and milk were collected from dairy in Hamidia Road by team. A total of 4 samples were taken. A total of 470 samples have been taken by the department, 249 samples have been taken in the special campaign since last month. So far, the department has also taken action against 10 food traders and issued a notice on 48 by filing a case under the FSS (Food Safety and Standard ) act.
